Goodness where has the time gone!
We have been so busy getting to know our two newest rescues, the wild mustang fillies Chilli and Natalia, that it has snuck up on me that THIS WEEKEND is the first official kickoff of ResqRanch summer programs!
You are hereby invited to attend this Sunday’s first Open House and introduction to visit with the animals and check out all our progress. The event runs from noon and finishes up at 2 pm. If you plan to attend, please shoot us an email or give us a call at the clinic 303-838-3771 to RSVP and get directions. Wear your ResqRanch gear and get in for FREE. Don’t have your shirt yet? No problem, just bring a small donation, even of carrots and/or apples for the animals, and you are all set to have a great time out in nature and near our magical rescued animals!
Spend some time hanging out one-on-one with DrQ, discussing animal health and training, and the future of the ResqRanch, all while enjoying the beautiful Colorado mountain views!
Additionally, we wish to announce the new Tack Shack at the ranch which will be open soon. Think thrift store for horse equipment; everything from halters and lead ropes to blankets and martingales. Have something to donate? Bring it with you! Interested in checking out our offerings? Please give us another couple of weeks to sort and organize all the donations we have been given, so we can help the equipment find a new home and stay out of the landfill. Better yet, volunteer to help us with that task!
Families with children encouraged, please head out and show your love and support for our efforts to spread the message of positive reinforcement training for all animals. Let’s not forget that rescuing animals often rescue’s us! So if you are looking to connect with nature and animals, you have come to the right place!
